Class 2 Digital Signature Certificate
Class-2 Certificates are issued as Managed Digital Certificates to employers/employees/ partners/ affiliates/ customers of business and government organizations that are ready to assume the responsibility of verifying the accuracy of the information submitted by their employers/employees/ partners/ affiliates/ customers.
These certificates will be issued for both business personnel and private individuals use. The main purpose of these certificates will be to confirm that the information in the application provided by the applicants doesn’t conflict with the information updated in well-established consumer databases.
This level is especially required in environments where possibilities and thereby consequences of data compromise are present. This category might include transactions having significant monetary value or risk of fraud, or concerning details to confidential information where the likelihood of malignant access is substantial.
List of Documents needed for Class 2 Digital Signature Certificate – Individual Personnel
- Applicant’s self attested passport-size photograph (Signature across photo)
- Pan Card photocopy
- Address proof (Voter ID or Passport or Driving License or Aadhaar)
- Note: Application & Signature should be in BLUE INK only. All the documents have to be self-attested as well as attested by the Gazetted Officer or Bank Manager or Head Post Master.
