Bidders are advised to register their firm with the Container Corporation of India Limited online tenders portal. The tender portal is secure and uses 128/256-bit encryption to protect data shared by vendors. It is certified by DigiCert as a secure and trusted site. The portal is compatible with Internet Explorer version 7 and 8.
Bidders also need to procure class 3 digital signature certificates to participate in CONCOR online tenders. Digital signature certificates (DSC) are the digital or the electronic equivalent of physical or paper certificates. DSCs can be presented electronically to prove the signee’s identity. It can also be used to access information or services on the Internet or to sign certain documents digitally.
Prospective bidders are advised to obtain a class 3 DSC well in advance. As per new guidelines announced by Controller of Certifying Authorities, India (CCA), processing of DSC takes 7 to 10 days after submission of application form at the CONCOR helpdesk. E-payment facility is available for paying registration charges on the CONCOR e-procurement website. Bidders can register online by using a credit card, debit card (Master and VISA card only) and netbanking service provided by Punjab National Bank.
To enable a user name, reset the password and update the serial number of a digital certificate, on the CONCOR e-tenders portal, users have to submit an application form. The form has to be filled on the company’s letterhead. It has to be duly signed and stamped. Vendors can e-mail the form to tender wizard helpdesk on these email addresses – firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com. The documents have to be sent to the helpdesk at least two days prior to the due date for submission of bids.

If users have opted not to buy the USB token, the digital signature certificate will be sent via email to the registered email address. A courier package will be not be delivered.
